Transferring GTA 5 saves from the PS4 to the PS5 or Xbox One to Xbox Series X / S is the same process no matter which console you're using. The steps below also allow you to transfer save data across console platforms - from the PS4 to Xbox Series X / S for example.
Either way, you'll need to press 'Resume Story' on the 'Story Tab' and, after doing so, the option 'Download Save Game Data' will appear. Check that you're about to download the right save file and, if it's correct, select the file before waiting for it to download.
In order to transfer your data, you will first need to connect the two consoles. This can be done by linking the PS4 and PS5 to the same Wi-Fi network. However, if you want faster speeds, you can instead connect them directly to your router with Ethernet cables. This will allow you to transfer both game and save data, preventing you from having to re-download them over the internet.

If the network transfer is giving you trouble, or if you have save data you want to transfer from a PS4 at someone else's house, you can also back up your PS4 game saves to a USB flash drive. Plug the drive into your PS4, then go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage and select Copy to USB Storage Device. Select the game saves you want to copy over, and repeat this process for any other games on your system.
In addition to giving you new games to play every month, Sony's PlayStation Plus also offers some cloud backup options that regular owners don't get. So if you are a PS Plus subscriber, you can download those game saves from your existing cloud storage.
On your PS5, head to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Saved Data (PS4) > Cloud Storage and choose Download to Console Storage. You should be able to select which game saves you want to download. If you don't see the games you're looking for, you need to upload that data from your old console.
You can do this under Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Upload to Online Storage on the PS4. Then come back to the Cloud Storage page on your PS5 and try downloading the data again.
Can you transfer save data in God of War Ragnarok? Many games release on both PS5 and PS4, and some of these cross-gen games allow you to move your save data from the last-gen version to the newer version. This lets you pick up where you left off once you upgrade to a PS5. The good news is that yes, you can transfer your save data from PS4 to PS5 in God of War Ragnarok. However, you cannot transfer your save from PS5 back to PS4, so it's a one-way system. Note: You will need an active PS Plus membership in order to upload your PS4 save data to the cloud.
On the next screen, choose Select and Upload, then tick the save data you want to upload to the cloud. The most recent save data will be at the top of the list. Select Upload. After a few seconds, your PS4 save data will be uploaded to online storage.
On your PS5, navigate to the PS Plus section, then More (the three dots in the top right). Select Cloud Storage. Navigate to Saved Data (PS4), then Cloud Storage. Wait for the saves to appear in the next screen. You should see your PS4 God of War Ragnarok save data at the top. Tick it, then move to Download in the bottom right of the screen.
Next, boot up the PS5 version of God of War Ragnarok. On the main menu, select Load Game. Press R1 to tab across to PS4 System. Your downloaded PS4 save data will appear in the menu. Select it to load the save and carry on where you left off on PS4.

I always wanted to create a huge gang war in GTA LCS by making the game only spawn gangsters, Similar to Pedgrp.dat or modifying gang density in areas of the Main.SCM, Which makes me wonder.... Are we at a point that changing the spawning locations for npc's possible? Can we make Gang01,02,03,04,05 ETC Spawn anywhere with editing the game's internal save data? With this program? (Possibly in the future) Will Sanny Builder ever finally add the ability to compile Stories Main.scm file... my rambling aside...
